What is Simulcasting?


Simulcasting refers to betting on racetracks other then Canterbury Park. Canterbury Park offers 
wagering opportunities on racetracks from across the country.

Q:   Is there an admission fee to get into the Racebook?



If Canterbury Park does not have live racing, there is never a fee to get in. During live racing, your normal live racing admission is all you need to get into the Canterbury Racebook.

Q:   When is your Racebook Open

Canterbury’s Racebook hours depend on the day’s schedule of tracks. Typically the Canterbury Racebook is open daily from 10 a.m. – Midnight.

Q:   When can I place wagers for a given race?

Typically wagering is limited to the day of the race. For certain premier events, such as the Kentucky Derby, advanced wagering is available.

Q:   Can I place a wager even if there are no tellers available?

Absolutely. Our Self-Service Terminals are available anytime, including in the Card Club.

Q:   How long do I have to cash a winning ticket?

Winning tickets can be cashed at Canterbury Park for up to a year.

Q:   Why should I use an MVP Rewards Card?

Canterbury’s MVP Rewards Card will earn you points for every wager you place that can be redeemed for valuable prizes, such as season passes, food and beverage comps and cash. Using an MVP Card can also make you eligible for MVP only promotions.
