Shakopee, January 31, 2019 – A group of local investors announced today a brand new music festival coming to Canterbury Park July 18-20, 2019.
Twin Cities Summer Jam will be the only music festival in the Twin Cities and the Upper Midwest that combines music formats – rock, pop and country – for three days of great live music with major artists from around the country.
“We don’t listen to and enjoy just one genre of music; our personal playlists are all over the place,” said co-founder Chris Hawkey, “So why shouldn’t our live music experience be the same?”
Summer Jam will feature the umbrella genres of rock, pop and country. Arena-level headliners from different music formats will be performing back to back, along with the most exciting emerging bands on a second stage.
ICYMI – @janashortal convinced @Chris_Hawkey to confirm the worst kept secret – the first major artist for @TCSummerJam is @TheTimMcGraw. We can’t wait to announce the rest of the line-up on Feb. 21. #SummerisComing #TCSummerJam #TimMcGraw #BTN11 https://t.co/JJ4r5NrscM
