Bo Vujovich began owning horses seven years ago and has been lucky enough to have stakes winners along the way. Bo’s love for horses started when she was a little girl. She has been able to make her dream of owning and breeding horses a reality.

Bo has been working with trainer Mac Robertson for several years. “He’s been great over the years,” she said. “He has a lot to do with the success of my horses.”

She currently has two horses in training along with a two-year-old at home and two yearlings that will be going to the sale this year. One of her horses currently racing is Dear Fay, a seven-year-old mare, who won the Princess Elaine Stakes this year and in 2014.

“The biggest thing I’ve learned through owning horses is be patient and never give up,” Bo said. “My advice to others that are thinking about owning is to get in the game and be smart about it.”

Bo’s horses have also raced at Arlington Park in Illinois and at Laurel Park in Maryland.

When Bo isn’t spending time at the racetrack or with her horses, she stays very busy with her love for German Shepherds. For over 30 years her Rosewood German Shepherd dogs and breeding program have been nationally recognized.
