Canterbury Park is a proud member of the Minnesota Keystone Program, pledging to return up to 5% of pre-tax profits to the community annually. We have a long tradition of charitable giving, and we’re committed to continuing that legacy into the future.

Group Fundraising

Canterbury Park puts the FUN in FUNdraising. Raise money for your group or organization by working in the fun and engaging atmosphere of Canterbury Park.   The more people you encourage to participate, the more money you can raise!

Canterbury Park Minnesota Fund

The Canterbury Park Minnesota Fund was established in 2003 to provide funds for organizations that benefit equine and agricultural causes, responsible gaming programs and our local communities. Since its inception, the Canterbury Park Minnesota Fund has provided nearly $1 million in grants to organizations throughout our state. The application process will be open starting January 1, 2024 through March 31, 2024.

Corporate Giving

Canterbury Park considers charitable in-kind donation requests for registered 501c3 organizations in the seven-county metro area. Donations are not considered for the following: fundraising events for an individual or family, capital campaigns, individual or group travel, political causes, third party requests or internal corporate campaigns (i.e. United Way), or requests for operating expenses.

Leg Up Fund

Canterbury Park established the Leg Up Fund to assist injured and disabled Canterbury Park jockeys. Each year, our staff, horsemen and fans come together to raise money for this important cause. Watch for an upcoming Leg Up Fund event on our racing promotions page.
