This Saturday, Gulfstream Park West hosts the Sunshine Millions Preview Day with four stakes races, each with a $100,000 purse.
The 10-race card begins at 11:35 a.m. and offers competitive fields on both turf and dirt.
Churchill Downs Fall Meet is underway now. Saturday’s feature race is the G2 Chilukki Stakes, the 10th race on an 11-race card that begins at 11:40 a.m.
The Kentucky Derby and Oaks Future Wager dates have been announced along with the inaugural Kentucky Derby Sire Future Wager.
Pool 1 for the Kentucky Derby Future wager will be November 26-29. Pool 2 is February 12-14; Pool 3 March 11-13 and Pool 4 is April 1-3.
There will be one Oaks Future Pool offered March 11-13.
The new Sire Future Wager, set for November 26-29, allows players to wager on which sire will produce the 2016 Kentucky Derby winner. The wager was approved by the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission last year. More to come as details are released.
Qualify for the 2016 Horse Player World Series
Super Satellites are underway now that feed the Dec. 19 Satellite. Winners of that satellite go to Vegas in March to play in the $1 million Horse Player World Series.
Entry fee for Super Satellites is $10.
