Coming to Shakopee, Minnesota in 2025 is the largest outdoor constructed music venue in Minnesota with capacity for 19,000 fans. The venue will be just a short walk from Canterbury Park racetrack and casino. This state of the art outdoor facility is expected to attract 45 shows per year featuring the country’s top acts and artists. Canterbury’s land sale of 37.5 acres for $8.8 million to Swervo Development led to the ground breaking in the fall of 2023.

The Shakopee Planning Commission recommended approval of a new 9,600-square-foot commercial building within the Canterbury development area. Mr. Pig Stuff is the tenant of the proposed 4,400-square-foot restaurant and 1,050-square-foot patio space. The restaurant is expected to open mid-2024.
